We stayed three nights in this bungalow. It is located in a very serene environment in the hill country of Sri Lanka. The bungalow consists of five spacious and clean rooms with en suite toilets which too are very spacious and clean. The long Verandah is facing the stunning view of a mountain range. The garden and the surrounding is well kept. There is a small swimming pool too. The garden is a bird watcher's paradise and hence remember to carry your binoculars and all camera lenses. The curtious staff makes your stay wonderful. The manager Benedict goes out of his way to attend to all your needs. Also the chef will spoil you with delicious food. All in all I would suggest this holiday bungalow for you to get lost amidst the nature of beautiful hill country of Sri Lanka. Riverston is just one and a half hours drive away if you wish to do trekking and there are a few waterfalls around too.

Lalan Yala is the finest in the area. A touch of luxury amidst the jungle setting. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Staff ever too keen to please and accommodate and nothing is impossible for them to provide. Service is attentive and yet discreet and warmingly Sri Lankan. Helpful with the jeep bookings to the Yala national Park and we had dinner waiting on our return from the park! Amazing. Congratulations all round for this fantastic piece of heaven! Well done!

The chef and the team at Udapola Bungalow had gone out of the way to prepare some additional dishes for the kids and grandmother who could not consume spicy food. The staff was very supportive! It was a nice stay with no disturbances and value for money.
